Due to joystick issues, the aircraft went inverted. Upset recovery was applied and aircraft was recovered successfully. However due to PMDG issue, had to restart the simulator. Unfortunately upon restarting the simulator, the altitude was set to 0 and MSFS loaded the sim as if I was on ground. Using slew mode, aircraft was put to same altitude as previous state and flight was continued as usual with no additional failures.
